VESTER Elektronik GmbH can look back on over 40 years of company history.
The beginnings date back to the year 1968 when the company was founded as Vester Apparatebauby Wolfgang Vester in Birkenfeld near Pforzheim.
The development of opto-electronic sensors light barriers and evaluation systems (today referred to as process monitoring systems) for tool monitoring certainly had a pioneering character then. The robust and miniaturised light barriers for integration into punching tools were the basis for a successful product range which was constantly extended and keeps setting standards in this line of business until today.
The current corporate name VESTER Elektronik GmbH was registered in 1973.
Following the establishment of a distribution structure in Germany, France, Italy and the UK and an expansion of the innovative product portfolio, the company developed more and more into a competent service enterprise around the punching and forming industry.

In 1993 the company was taken over by Thomas Vester and Ulrich Renger as joint CEOs with equal responsibilities.

Today VESTER Elektronik GmbH and its partners offer a very large and efficient product range from the fields of sensor technology and process monitoring as well as test automation, measuring and sorting technology.
